Dr David Trawford - GDC 51811 BDS (U.Lond) LDS.RCS
David was born is Spalding the son of local veterinary surgeon Roy Trawford. David qualified from The London Hospital Medical College in 1978 and worked initially as an associate in Buckinghamshire and then Stamford.
In 1986 he came home to Spalding with his wife Jenny and set up his own practice in Victoria House on London Road where it remained for ten years. In the early years Jenny worked as both nurse and receptionist but as the practice grew quickly more staff and more space were soon needed.
In 1996 the practice moved to a custom built surgery in Camelgate and has continued to grow with Jenny's eldest son James becoming a partner 14 years ago followed by 3 further associate Dental Surgeons and 3 Dental Hygienists joining the team.
David and James agree that the only way for a practice to grow is to stay in touch with the changing face of techniques and technologies as they develop and advance with those changes. They continue to reinvest in the practice to ensure that it is able to offer the best facilities available in those areas. David still enjoys the practice and challenges of day to day dentistry as well as attending many courses. The use of lasers in dentistry, being one particularly exiting interest recently.
With four grown up sons family life remains busy with spare moments filled with motorcycling, falconry and caring for a large garden.

James qualified from The London Hospital Medical College in 1998 with a distinction in restorative dentistry. James has particular interests in the application of technology in dentistry. He has greatly enjoyed computerising the practice, helping set up the exciting CAD/CAM manufacturing techniques, laser based treatments and the latest 3D radiographic treatment planning services we are now able to offer. James is a registered Invisalign (invisible braces) provider and uses this to provide a range of orthodontic treatment options. He is a member of The British Dental Association and works hard to promote sound preventative dentistry to help keep treatment as simple and easy for his patients as possible.
